CHT offers ASSE 6040 certification classes

ASSE Certification
CHT, LLC is pleased to offer the required 32-hour NITC accredited, ASSE 6040 Medical Pipeline Systems Maintenance certification course.

For those whose responsibilities include maintaining medical gas and vacuum pipeline systems, this session will provide the proper certification and the level of competency that you need to ensure the safe and continuous operation of these systems.

Information About The Course
Upon successful completion of this required 32-hour training session, you should be able to identify and demonstrate knowledge of the different technologies and products that make up the components of Medical Gas Pipeline Systems and you should be able to perform basic routine maintenance and troubleshooting of these systems. The session will cover:

• NFPA 99 requirements (2005 edition)
• Product Performance Knowledge
• Personal Safety Protection
• Medical Gas Headers, Manifolds and Cryogenic Liquid Systems
• Medical Air Systems and associated components
• Medical/Surgical Vacuum Systems
• Waste Anesthesia Gas Disposal Systems
• Instrument Air Systems
• Medical Pipeline Valves
• Medical Pipeline Outlets
• Medical Pipeline Warning Systems
• Performance Verification
• System Troubleshooting
• Medical Pipeline Planned Shutdowns
• Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Pipeline Systems

Requirements
If you're interested in attending this session, you must provide proof that you are either employed by or contracted by a health care facility for the purpose of maintaining Medical Gas Pipeline Systems, and that you have performed this type of work for at least one year. A government issued Photo ID is also required.

To complete the course, each participant must have a copy of BOTH the NFPA 99C and a copy of the ASSE Series 6000. Bringing your own copy is acceptable. CHT is also offering participants copies of these manuals at cost. NFPA 99 is $42.50 and ASSE Series 6000 is $60.00 (tax is not included). If you will be purchasing these manuals from CHT for the course, please indicate that in the form below when you register.

Details
The ASSE 6040 Medical Pipeline Systems Maintenance session takes four days. Sessions run from 8AM - 5PM each day. The final day of the session concludes with an exam.

Each session is capped at 25 participants. The cost of this 32 hour, four day session is $850 per person.

CHT accepts Cash, Company checks, or major Credit Cards. If you plan to pay by check, please make arrangements beforehand so that proper authorization may be given. You may also use your Visa or MasterCard; when you are contacted about your registration, arrangements to pay by credit card may be made at that time. Payments by credit card will not be accepted on site or during sessions.
