CHT committment to Safety

CHT has a very strong committment to patient safety and has partnered with the FDA to help provide information to eliminate patient deaths and injuries through medical gas mix ups. While many of the projects and classes covered in the CHx Program are geared towards "safety through compliance" there are some aspects of working with Medical Gasses that go beyond NFPA or ASSE codes.

Patients die every year from simple mistakes in medical gas mix ups. As part of our ongoing effort to educate hospital personnel and to eliminate deaths related to mistakes or problems with medical gas systems, CHT has partnered with the FDA in the fight against Medical Gas Mix ups.
