CHT Expands with Acquisition of Environmental Testing Co., EGI

Cary, NC – September 12, 2007 - Compliant Healthcare Technologies, LLC (CHT) has agreed to acquire Cary, North Carolina based Enviro-Guard, Inc. (EGI). The acquisition enhances and strengthens CHT’s industry leading Piped Medical Gas compliance programs while opening up new lines of business and expanding the customer base. This acquisition represents an opportunity for CHT to advance its leadership in the revolutionary CHx Piped Medical Gas Compliance initiatives. The combination of CHT’s software, programs, and expertise will contribute significantly to EGI’s current functional capabilities and industry reputation.

The experience and expertise that EGI brings to this mix further complements and strengthens CHT’s comprehensive line of products and services. With the manpower and infrastructure to fulfill the testing, verification, and implementation of larger scale compliance initiatives, EGI’s contribution increases the quality of offerings and broadens the audience for the CHx Program. This acquisition will create an unparalleled compliance resource for those working with Piped Medical Gas in any capacity.
